you know what's strange, i have a similar regret. during an argument, decades (or more) ago, i asked a friend of mine to 'shut up'. this is, by no means, the rudest ive ever been, but somehow whenever i think of regret, this moment comes back to me, along with one other. it's strange how we regret the missed opportunity for human connection, how it's the little things that we come back to. very introspective piece! thanks for sharing 💌
I have so many missed opportunities
So many moments I could have taken a different path or been a better person
My life could be seen as one filled with regrets
But the filter of regret must needs be replaced with that of gratitude
For in being grateful for the insights regret offers, I reclaim who I truly am.
Thank you for sharing and showing that this path is filled with opportunities for greater self awareness and love.
Thank you, Eileen, for such an intimate insight into your own perspective on regrets and missed opportunities.
What's certain is that I'm grateful to have you read my work here.
You are most welcome, Mahdi. We are not alone on our journeys. Energetically, connection sustains the waivering soul.

I'm grateful you read and enjoyed it, Yasha, and thank you for sharing your experience here.
As you put it beautifully, it's the missed opportunities for human connection and kindness that have the greatest potential to turn into regrets.
