If I were religious, I would be praying for an end to this madness, and for peace, and for the well-being of yourself and your whole family, and that of innocent people everywhere.
I do not understand those who desire war and conflict. Your poem strikes to my heart as an emotional missile - the only kind I can countenance. The world needs more poets, and fewer war mongers.
Your words resonate with me, dear friend, and I believe with everyone who has a human heart. If I were religious, I would pray for peace, but I guess us poets do so in our own way, raising our voices to the ether, hoping somehow unconsciously for a ripple effect of good.
Mahdi...every word...every single word! I don't know how to wish everyone safety and the life you describe that they totally deserve...knowing my words are meaningless when a destructive madness has been given free rein. Is it enough to say you are in my thoughts.... and I will keep coming back to your poem? My heart is heavy, my friend.
It is a source of immense peace to know there are souls like you who care for humanity and feel the hurt of their fellow sentient beings in the deepest hearths of their hearts. Please keep making the world a better place.
I’m sorry for all of us who have to endure despicable criminals presiding over the world, my friend. As history has shown over and over again, their cruelties will not go unanswered, and this is not going to remain their playing grounds. Peace will prevail🕊️
Your constant support is a great source of comfort. You know history well, and you know that the punishment for the oppressors is imminent, however the arduous the moment. Keep us in our thoughts, and peace will prevail.
You've answered the question uppermost in my mind, thinking of you and those you love.
And as you say...no one can capture the heartache. The news does not tell...but some of us feel something of it. Deeply. The cry across the oceans is loud.
The collective community which aligns with your heartfelt cry for all who feel and are unheard, hears.
Vibrations in the airwaves, distortions of the harmony we ache for, are loud.
Stay safe, dear Mahdi. You and your little sister. You're family is in my heart.
I know in my heart how deeply you feel our pain all the way over there. I couldn’t ask for more. As long as we are in your thoughts, as long as the oppressed is, the world can resist a total downfall.
Mahdi, thank you for writing this, I am glad you are saying what “they” do not. You are seen and heard. Praying for a sunrise at the end of this impossibly dark night
Oh dear, Mahdi! My heart breaks reading your words. May the Universe send a light to quell this devastating darkness. The insanity gripping the world is pure evil. May the forces of light take control. We need peace. Now! May you be safe my friend. 🤍🙏
Thank you for your bright words of courage and kindness. It is despicable how bullies and criminals have taken over and think they can maintain this impunity forever. True colors are coming out, and I never knew how many shades I could wholeheartedly hate!
All I ever remember when hearing about wars, martyrdom, explosions or anything, is Gaza. I know there are many places where people are suffering, and I pray they will all be released from that suffering soon. It's that we can't even stop the extensively documented and live-broadcast genocide.
The world has become the playground of the insane criminals who have no regard for human lives, willing their agendas of oppression and domination forward no matter how much suffering and how many deaths it causes. This is what happens when embodied madness adopts the illusion of impunity. History will punish them, as it has over and over again.
I hope they get what they deserve but it makes me bitter how amazingly helpless we are to have no choice but to project the present into the future where it'd have become 'history'. More than their indictment, I am concerned with the suffering of those they persecute.

My heart breaks for you.
How many hearts should break for the world to change, Kathleen?
I wish none.
